My roommate chris has a Wisconsin accent and occasionally busts out an "aye." There are a few girls here from South Carolina that tend have the drawl and endless through "y'alls" into the mix.
There are people here from real life and when an inquisitive person stumbles upon a real story like poverty, addiction, death, its interesting. It isn't exactly awkward but its not just another conversation topic either. A girl here lives in the same neighborhood as a few professional athletes, when in the states.
My roommate attempted to use the term "clusterfuck" and botched it. We have all recently started saying "palabra" instead of word, it got old almost instantly. I have a few photos I would like to post but still don't know how.
